I created this page full of resources to help you better navigate this online world. There are so many tools you can use – so I compiled some of my favorites and most useful tools for you to check out and apply to your business! I never recommend something I don’t personally use and love! Please note that some of these links are affiliate links and I get a tiny commission if you decide to purchase.
Trusted tools that I currently use:
Bluehost – Bluehost is what I use to keep my websites running. It has been the very first business investment I’ve ever made and the most valuable. Otherwise, I’d have to host my site on Tumblr, Blogspot, or Notepad – and It didn’t look very appealing. Go Pro!
Kit (Previously ConvertKit) – I’ve used this service since the very beginning and I’m SO pleased with it! This company truly serves the creators and is invested in their success! I’ve grown my list substantially since starting with Kit – not because it has magical list growing capabilities – but because it is SO easy to use, set up, and grow my list! I highly recommend this list building tool!
Freshbooks – when I started my entrepreneurial journey back in 2012 I was assisting clients with Virtual Assistance and this tool made it so easy to bill and invoice clients. I still use this tool on a monthly basis to keep track of money that is coming in and out of my business. It’s like a personal mini bookkeeper!
Screenflow – I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for this tool. When I first started online, I did a lot of video tutorials. Recording the video and later editing in Screenflow was such a breeze! It is because of this tool that I was able to get consistent video out and even get clients from it!
Wirecast – this is the software I use to go live on Facebook every week. It has been a HUGE catapult for the show’s growth, visibility, and professional look. I get asked on a daily basis what I use to go live on Facebook with a side by side interview – and Wirecast is my secret weapon!
Dropbox – I use this tool on a regular basis. That’s how I read most of my e-books that are not formatted for Kindle. I upload them to dropbox on my iMac and later read the books on my phone. When I work with clients, the shared folder option keeps my work and client files nice and organized.
