vicky-lyashenko-with-wendy-speake-and-kelli-stuart-at-becoming-conferenceI met this beautiful woman at the Becoming Conference in Asheville, NC. I wasn’t planning on attending until Wendy invited me to join them! I felt God led us to South Carolina just so I can attend as it was just about 1.5 hours away from where we were staying. Wow.

I’ve previously met Wendy online and was breath taken by her beautiful heart and her incredible work. Not only is she a supportive wife, a mom of 3 boys, a homeschooler – HOMESCHOOLER!!! (LOT’S of respect there) but she is also a speaker and an author of now 2 books – Triggers and her newest book Life Creative (stick to the end of this post to win a copy!)

I don’t think I’ve gotten so many emails, fb messages, and snapchats about an episode EVER. I think Wendy’s message REALLY resonated with SO many mamas. In fact – it resonated with me first and foremost. Her message of winning online without losing at home spoke directly to my heart and soul and I’m SO so happy you are here to watch/listen to this beautiful message. Enjoy mama, and I pray this message speaks to you as powerfully as it did to me ❤️

  1. Hello Ladies,
My biggest take away is to start slow and offer to fill a need when God nudges you to do so. Also, to include your children in your creative pursuits. My creative time has almost come to a halt in the past year and I’m encouraged to look for times to let it grow again.

Wendy, you are always an inspiration to me, both today and as I’ve watched you from a distance in the past when our boys were in class together.

Vicky, I loved the authentic connections you were making during the interview and your own story weaved into the conversation.
